While Lenovo quickly addressed the erroneous piece of information that appeared in its regional website, a recent leak on the Legion Go Lite’s chassis seems to confirm a few things that were previously thought to be incorrect.

The leak originates from NITTRX (via NotebookCheck), which shows the outer shell of the device, both front and back. From the images, we can see there are virtually no similarities between the regular Legion Go and the Lite variant despite sharing similar names – the Lite chassis is a lot more rounder, smaller, and also lacks the detachable controllers seen in the original model. Notably, the chassis is painted white instead of gray as well.

Some interesting detail of the leaked images indicate that the back half of the chassis features a pair of back buttons, as well as a cutout that likely is for the shoulder trigger lock. Besides that, there are two perforations acting as air intakes, but it’s unclear if the handheld may adopt a dual-fan setup (which is very unlikely).

Nothing is known for the internals, however. Earlier rumors indicate that the Legion Go Lite will pack a standard AMD Ryzen Z1 (non-Extreme) chip, which means the GPU will be a fair bit less capable than that of the Extreme variant found in its bigger brother, and the rival models like ROG Ally. The smaller chassis is also reportedly housing a 7-inch display as well.

Pokdepinion: Very different look, that’s for sure.
