Acer Swift 5 & Acer Swift 3 Unveiled With 12th Gen Intel Core Processors
Acer has recently made an update to their Swift lineup where they’ve unveiled the latest models for the Acer Swift 5 and Swift 3, coming with the latest 12th Gen Intel Core processors.

With the new Acer Swift 5 (SF514-56T), it comes with CNC-machined unibody chassis and is powered by a 12th Gen Intel Core Processor featuring up to 12 cores plus Intel Iris Xe graphics. It’s light where it weighs only at 1.2kg.
You have 16GB of dual-channel LPDDR5 RAM as well as up to 2TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage to take advantage of.
The laptop has also been Intel Evo verified and it’s slated to offer 10 hours of battery life. Its OceanGlass touchpad has been made from ocean-bound plastic waste, where they claim it offers a “sleek glass-like feeling”.
For the display, it comes with a WQXGA (2560×1600) touchscreen display with a 92.22% screen-to-body ratio. As for video calls, there’s the FHD MIPI webcam at the front where it leverages the brand’s Temporal Noise Reduction (TNR) technology to provide good video feedback even in lowlight and Acer PurifiedVoice with AI Noise Reduction to ensure that your voice is loud and clear in calls.
Acer has said that the Swift 5 comes with an array of thermal solutions where the backlit keyboard features an air inlet design that’s supposedly expels 8%-10% more heat than your usual keyboard. There’s also an upgraded TwinAir dual-fan system and D6 heat pipes to improve airflow and thermal efficiency.
Aside from that, it has two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a single HDMI 2.1 port, and two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports.
Exact specifications and prices vary by region but the Acer Swift 5 is priced at US$1,499 (~RM6,307).
Then we have the Acer Swift 3 (SF314-512) that sports a 14-inch QHD touch-screen display. As mentioned earlier, it also comes with a 12th Gen Intel Core CPU. It Offers up to 2TB of SSD storage.
Besides that, it also comes with Wi-Fi 6E connectivity and DTS Audio for a better streaming experience. The ports are covered as well where it includes a USB Type-C port, USB Type-A, and HDMI 2.1.
They claim that with a 30-minute charge, the laptop can offer up to 4 hours of battery life. The laptop starts at the price of US$849.99 (~RM3,576).
