Acer Swift Edge Revealed As World’s Lightest 16-inch OLED Laptop

Acer has introduced its latest model in the form of Swift Edge, which claimed to be the lightest 16-inch OLED laptop in the world.

The Acer Swift Edge is powered by Ryzen 6000 series processors coupled with Microsoft Pluton security processor for enhanced security; the magnesium-aluminum chassis weighs at just 1.17kg and measures 12.95mm at its thickest point. Display is a 16-inch 4K OLED (3840 x 2400, 16:10 aspect ratio) with 100% DCI-P3 color space, with 500 nits peak brightness and certification for VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500.

Connectivity wise, the Swift Edge supports Wi-Fi 6E; Full-HD webcam utilizes Acer’s Temporal Noise Reduction technology to maintain image quality in various lighting conditions. Other I/O ports include: HDMI 2.1, 2x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C with fast charging support, 2x USB-A and a headphone jack.

For local markets, the Acer Swift Edge will be offered with two configurations: the upper model features AMD Ryzen 7 6800U, 1TB PCIe Gen4 SSD and 16GB onboard LPDDR5 RAM; while the lower model runs on AMD Ryzen 5 6600U, 512GB PCIe Gen4 SSD and 8GB onboard LPDDR5 RAM. Both models will include Microsoft Office Home & Student 2021 as standard with two-year warranty (including first year International Travelers Warranty). Both models are now available on Acer eStore, Shopee and Lazada priced at RM6,299 and RM5,299 respectively. First 25 units sold will also ship with Logitech MX Anywhere 3 mouse, worth RM431.
