ASUS Officially Launches Zenbook 14X OLED & Zenbook 14 Flip OLED in Malaysia
During the launch event on Starbucks Reserve @ Tropicana Gardens Mall last Friday, ASUS formally launched two new Zenbook models – the Zenbook 14X OLED and the Zenbook 14 Flip OLED.
The Zenbook 14X OLED is now updated with 13th Gen Intel CPUs, which can be optioned up to Core i9-13900H, plus up to 32GB LPDDR5 RAM and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 handling the graphics duty (lower-spec models will use integrated Intel Xe Graphics instead). The OLED panel is a 14.5-inch 16:10 2.8K 120Hz OLED with 100% DCI-P3 color gamut certified for DisplayHDR True Black 600 with PANTONE-validated colors.
Inside the 16.9mm, 1.5kg chassis houses a 70Wh battery with fast charging support; the new USB-C Easy Charge support allows any USB-C charger to top up the batteries using up to 20V (100W PD) chargers. Two colors are available – Inkwell Gray and the ceramic-like finish Sandstone Beige. As of this writing, the Core i7-13700H variant are now available for purchase (RM5,999) – whereas Core i5-13500H and Core i9-13900H option (RM4,999 and RM6,999 respectively) will be available by early April.
Coming in late March is the Zenbook 14 Flip OLED – this convertible laptop features Intel Core i5-1340P 28W-class CPU, paired with onboard Iris Xe Graphics and 16GB RAM; on the display department it features 14-inch 2.8K 90Hz touch OLED panel with DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification, 100% DCI-P3 coverage, PANTONE-validated color and is supported with optional ASUS Pen 2.0 stylus (included with the laptop).
The chassis weights 1.5kg and measures slightly thinner than its clamshell counterpart at 15.9mm – and it features a slightly larger 75Wh battery with fast charging support allowing 0-60% charge in 49 minutes. The laptop comes with one color finish, Foggy Silver, and features only a single configuration set to cost RM5,499.
