ASUS Zenbook S 13 UX5304 Now Open For Preorders, With Exclusive Gifts

In case you missed it – ASUS last month unveiled the Zenbook S 13 OLED (UX5304), or the “world’s slimmest OLED ultralight laptop” as they call it. At a razor-thin 10mm chassis Z-height, it weighs just 1kg and still packs some fairly comprehensive hardware with minimal compromise.

For the incoming configuration, the hardware features up to Intel’s 13th-gen Core i7-1355U processor (with TDP boosted up to 20W), paired with 16GB of LPDDR5-5200 RAM plus up to 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. Display is of the more prominent part of the laptop, with a 13-inch, 16:10 2.8K (2880 x 1800) Lumina OLED display with certification for Dolby Vision, PANTONE and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500.

I/O-wise, the Zenbook S managed to cram HDMI 2.1, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, USB-A 10Gbps (3.2 Gen 2) and a headphone jack despite its extremely slim chassis; with Wi-Fi 6E responsible for network connectivity. The battery is a 63Wh unit, and the chassis is tested under the MIL-STD-810H standard to ensure it can take quite a beating in real-world use. The laptop will be available in two colors: Basalt Gray and Ponder Blue.
