Lenovo has announced five new gaming products covering LOQ gaming PCs and Legion gaming monitors, comprising the Lenovo LOQ Essential 15IPH11, LOQ Essential 15IRH11, LOQ Tower 17IRH11, Legion 27Q-20 and Legion 27U-20 monitors. Note that all five products announced by Lenovo for this occasion has not been given any date in terms of local availability, nor is the pricing provided at this time.
Lenovo LOQ Essential Gaming Laptops
The Lenovo LOQ Essential 15IPH11 sits at the lowest point of its gaming laptop hierarchy, and this one does not even feature a discrete GPU – it is powered by Intel Core Ultra X7 358H processor with integrated Intel Arc B390 graphics (65W TDP across the silicon), and perhaps in an unfortunate case of bad timing, the system’s 16GB of LPDDR5X-9600 memory is likely going to hold back the iGPU’s performance, given that 16GB is barely sufficient for modern games to begin with, let alone partitioning parts of it for graphics.
In any case, Lenovo claims up to 21 hours of battery life from its 60Wh battery (insane figures by gaming laptop standards, though you might argue this one barely counts as one), with the laptop featuring a 15.3-inch 16:10 display with up to a 165Hz refresh rate and 100% sRGB coverage. This model is also 10% lighter and slimmer than its predecessor, and supports Thunderbolt 4 with 100W USB-C charging. It also has a secondary SSD slot for future upgrades.
Meanwhile, the LOQ Essential 15IRH11 uses Intel Core 200 series processors (up to Core 7 230H, which is basically a refreshed Core i7-13620H from 3 years ago) and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop GPU, at 75+15W TGP. It features the same chassis as the 15IPH11, meaning a 15.3-inch 16:10 display with up to a 165Hz refresh rate and 100% sRGB coverage, and same footprint savings.
Lenovo LOQ Tower 17IRH11
The Lenovo LOQ Tower 17IRH11 is equipped with Intel Core 200 series processors, though not the desktop variant; in fact, it’s the same as the LOQ Essential laptop we just mentioned, so Core 7 230H is the highest-end option you can get. It’s paired with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti GPU with 8GB of VRAM, along with up to 32GB of DDR5-5600 memory, with tool-less designs inside for component changes.
Lenovo Legion Monitors
Moving on to monitors, the Legion 27Q-20 is a 27-inch Fast IPS gaming monitor with QHD (2560×1440) resolution and a native 320Hz refresh rate. It has a 1ms GtG response time and 0.5ms MPRT, with AMD FreeSync Premium, Adaptive Sync and NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible support. The Legion 27U-20 features a Dual Mode display that can operate at 4K (3840×2160) at 180Hz or switch to FHD at 360Hz. It also supports Picture-in-Picture and Picture-by-Picture modes and includes a USB hub.
Both monitors cover 99% of the sRGB and 95% of the DCI-P3 color spaces, with factory-calibrated Delta-E <2 accuracy, VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification and 400-nit brightness. They also include HDMI 2.1 FRL (the faster version, not the 4K60 “TMDS” variants) and DisplayPort 1.4 connectivity. Lenovo said its Legion Space software provides access to gaming features such as AI Crosshair, Game Companion, AI Walkthrough and Win-Moment Show for supported scenarios; they also feature adjustable stands and support Natural Low Blue Light and Eyesafe 2.0.
