OPPO R9s exceeds OPPO F1s pre-orders, hits new record

Last year, OPPO Malaysia launched the OPPO F1s and received around 6000 pre-orders. This January, the OPPO R9s was launched at RM1798, and Malaysian fans have shown their faith in OPPO with the number of pre-orders for the R9s surpassing the F1s pre-orders.

To OPPO Malaysia, this proves the confidence Malaysians have in OPPO’s products. Chen Lu, Chen Lu, the Brand Director of OPPO Malaysia mentioned that, “All these while, OPPO’s focus are never on the sales volume, or how much of the market share that we want to achieve with. Our priority is always on the product itself, on how it is makes the users feel amazing when using our product. We always concentrated on how to bring a better product than its previous generation.”

Helping OPPO along was also the chance to meet two of the R9s ambassadors, Fattah Amin and Min Chen, with every pre-order of the OPPO R9s. At the roadshows, the ambassadors demonstrated the upgraded camera features of the “Now It’s Clear” R9s. The R9s houses a 16MP Sony IMX398 sensor with a F/1.7 aperture for better performance in low light conditions and Dual PDAF for lightning fast focusing.
