CEO Says HONOR Magic Series Will Exceed HUAWEI Mate And P Lineup
While previously we’ve mentioned on how HONOR aims to surpass their former parent company HUAWEI, it seems that they now think that their new HONOR Magic smartphone lineup will be better than HUAWEI’s Mate and P-series range.

In a recent interview in China, George Zhao, the CEO of HONOR has revealed that the company are already partnering with Qualcomm to release a Snapdragon 888 smartphone as part of their HONOR Magic phone series.
He has said that with the flagship series, they aim to surpass even the high end and iconic HUAWEI Mate plus HUAWEI P-series from HUAWEI.
The CEO has said that their separation from HUAWEI has gone smoothly and in a respectful manner. Aside from Qualcomm, the company is also talking with both AMD and Intel about their MagicBook laptops too.
To top it all off, he has mentioned that upcoming offerings from the company will have better camera and processing features as they are no longer limited to HUAWEI’s resources.
