As we are entering the second half of 2025, that means we’re getting another Galaxy Unpacked event from Samsung, with the brand’s update on foldable smartphones being the focus this time around. The company has officially announced the summer event will be held in Brooklyn, New York and livestreamed globally at 10PM (Malaysia Time) on 9 July 2025.
Galaxy Unpacked Summer 2025
As hinted in the event teaser, the summer Unpacked will see the next iterations of Z series, notably the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7; both are expected to further shed thickness to compete against several other foldable makers. However, going by its press release, it looks like whatever hardware upgrades made to these devices will be second to their main selling point, Galaxy AI (whether you like it or not).
You can watch the Galaxy Unpacked livestream through three channels – Samsung website, Samsung Newsroom, and Samsung’s YouTube channel at the aforementioned time. The company is also offering a free RM50 voucher for registered customers to be used on devices unveiled in the event, eligible until the time keynote begins. Samsung Malaysia is also hosting the “My AI Lifestyle” event on its social media channels, with several prizes to be won, including home appliances, TV, and Galaxy Tab S6 Lite tablet.
