HONOR Unveils Impressive HONOR 100 Series with Cutting-Edge Features

HONOR recently concluded a dynamic day of smartphone announcements, introducing the HONOR 100 series as a standout addition to its lineup. Amidst other smartphone releases, including OPPO’s Reno11 duo and REDMAGIC’s 9 Pro, HONOR’s 100 series stole the spotlight with groundbreaking features.

The HONOR 100 series comprises two remarkable models: the HONOR 100, touted as the first phone to feature the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, and the HONOR 100 Pro. One of the standout features shared by both devices is their exceptional 100W fast charging capability, ensuring swift power replenishment.

HONOR 100

Design and Display: The HONOR 100 boasts a sleek 7.8 mm design and a 6.7” OLED display with 1220p resolution. The display incorporates an under-panel fingerprint scanner for seamless security.
Performance: Powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, the CPU configuration includes a high-performance Cortex-A715 core reaching 3.15 GHz, complemented by three additional cores at 2.4 GHz and four Cortex-A510 efficiency units at 1.8 GHz.
Camera Setup: The rear camera setup features a 50 MP main shooter with Sony IMX906 sensor, f/1.95 aperture, and OIS. An additional 12 MP ultrawide camera with 112 degrees FoV enhances the photographic capabilities. The front camera impresses with a 50 MP sensor and an f/2.1 lens.

Enhanced Display and Processor: The HONOR 100 Pro features a larger 6.78” OLED screen and is equipped with the robust Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.
Triple Camera System: While retaining the 50 MP main and 12 MP ultrawide cameras, the Pro variant introduces a third 32 MP camera capable of achieving “50x zoom.”
Rapid Charging and Cooling Solution: The device shares the 5,000 mAh battery with 100W charging seen in its sibling but introduces 66W wireless charging, ensuring a full charge in just 42 minutes. To counter overheating, HONOR incorporates a VC cooling solution with a slim 0.35 mm component, offering effective heat dissipation.
Variants and Pricing: The HONOR 100 Pro is available for purchase in four captivating colors – Black, White, Blue, and Purple. Pricing starts from CNY 3,399 ($480/€440) for the 12/256 GB model and can extend to CNY 4,399 ($620/€565) for the 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage variant, available in Purple and White versions.
