HONOR Malaysia has confirmed that the upcoming HONOR 400 Series will make its global debut in here in Malaysia – for starters, this new lineup is touted as “Affordable iPhone Killer” (admittedly, variations of this term has been used many times before) and comes with several AI technologies, as the Chinese smartphone maker concentrates its AI efforts.

As part of its announcement, HONOR has revealed a preview of the device’s rear camera design via its official social media channels (pictured above). The new model features a triple-camera setup and a grey finish, arranged in a layout reminiscent of recent iPhone Pro releases – there’s even a dedicated camera button if the already-released HONOR 400 Lite is anything to go by. For this lineup, the company promises enhanced AI-powered imaging capabilities designed to streamline mobile photography through automated adjustments.
In addition to its imaging capabilities, the HONOR 400 Series is said to feature improvements in battery performance, display quality, and durability, alongside further AI-integrated functionalities. Leaks thus far suggests that two more models will complete the 400 series lineup, namely the 400 and 400 Pro. The former allegedly features Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 series chipset, while the latter will get the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 instead; both also are said to get a 200-megapixel sensor as their main camera sensor.
In any case, expect full details of the HONOR 400 Series will be disclosed on 8 May 2025 per its announcement – full launch will likely follow in the coming days.
