HONOR has launched the new HONOR Magic V6 foldable in Malaysia, featuring cross-ecosystem connectivity with Apple devices, a new silicon-carbon battery with increased capacity, and dual IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance ratings, to name a few. The device is now open for pre-orders, with retail availability starting 12 June 2026.
HONOR Magic V6 Foldable Smartphone Launches in Malaysia

The HONOR Magic V6 measures 8.75mm when folded and 4.0mm when unfolded, weighing approximately 219g – that is to say, it weighs and feels pretty much exactly like a conventional flagship smartphone. Its hinge is constructed using HONOR Super Steel with a tensile strength of 2,800MPa and is rated for up to 500,000 folding cycles (equivalent to over 13 years of daily use). If you want something more convincing, it’s got an Asia Record to back it up.
Meanwhile, the external display is coated with a 5,600-layer silicon nitride Anti-Scratch NanoCrystal Shield, reducing screen reflectivity to as low as 1.5%. The inner display uses an upgraded Ultra-Tough Glass flexible layer with a crease depth reduced by 44% and impact resistance improved by 33% compared to its predecessor. The inner screen has received SGS 5-Star for Reliability Low Reflectivity Certification and SGS Imperceptible Crease certification.
Both displays support up to 120Hz adaptive refresh rates and certified eye-care technology, with the outer display reaches 6,000nits peak brightness, while the inner display reaches 5,000nits. The Magic V6 is also the first foldable smartphone to carry both IP68 and IP69 ratings, providing resistance to water immersion, dust, and high-pressure water sprays.

The Magic V6 supports cross-platform functionality with Apple devices through two applications – HONOR Connect for iPhone and HONOR WorkStation for MacBook – which users install on their Apple devices. The upgraded Quick Share feature automatically detects Apple devices for file transfers across formats, while the Mac Screen Extension feature allows users to extend a MacBook’s display onto the foldable’s inner screen, similar to iPad’s Sidecar feature.
On top of that, One Tap Share enables file transfers of up to 1GB in approximately 25 seconds between the Magic V6 and a MacBook via a single tap, which is claimed as a first in the industry for this category. Notification can also be synced across iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods, and to make it almost as iPhone-like, AirPods pop-up pairing animations, noise control, and Find My tracking are also supported on the Magic V6.
The foldable is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and runs HONOR’s Multi-Flex system, supporting up to three simultaneous split-screen application in MagicOS 10 system based on Android 16; a partial fold meanwhile activates Gemini through a feature called Fast-Flex. Inside you’ll find a 6,660mAh silicon-carbon battery, said to be the largest capacity in a foldable smartphone to date, and on the charging side of things, it supports 80W wired fast charging, as well as 66W wireless fast charging, plus wireless reverse charging.
