HONOR to Launch Magic5 Series in Malaysia Next Month, Including Pro and Non-Pro Variants along with Magic Vs Foldable
HONOR Malaysia CEO, Justin Li, confirmed that the HONOR Magic5 Series will be launching in Malaysia next month. In addition, the foldable HONOR Magic Vs will also be making its debut in the Malaysian market at the same time. Both the Pro and non-Pro flavors of the Magic5 series are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.
The Magic5 Pro features a 6.81-inch OLED LTPO display with a resolution of 2848 x 1312 and a tri-camera system on its back consisting of a 50MP f/1.6 primary camera, a 50MP f/2.0 ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP f/3.0 periscope telephoto camera. The standard version of the Magic5 has a slightly smaller 6.73-inch OLED LTPO display but still retains similar features to the Pro version. Both models have a tri-camera system on the back and a 12MP selfie camera.
The Magic Vs foldable is powered by the slightly older Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and features a 7.9-inch 90Hz OLED display and a secondary 6.45-inch 120Hz OLED cover screen. The foldable has a tri-camera module on the back featuring a 54MP f/1.9 primary camera, a 50MP f/2.0 ultra-wide/macro camera, and an 8MP f/2.4 telephoto camera. It also features a 16MP f/2.45 selfie camera and 5000mAh battery.
All three devices were launched globally at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona a few weeks ago. HONOR Malaysia plans to release them in the Malaysian market in early April, making Malaysia the first market to receive the Magic5 Pro, Magic5, and Magic Vs outside of China. However, the exact launch date of these devices in Malaysia has not yet been announced.
Pokdepinion: I’m genuinely looking forward to the foldable as their designs have been promising, even from previous years. I just hope the software has seen significant improvement, in terms of stability and features. Something that can aid with multitasking on a bigger screen will always be welcome.
