At the rear, the HTC U23 Pro features a rectangular camera island, which includes a 108MP primary camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), an 8MP ultrawide lens, a 5MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. This versatile quad-camera setup enables users to capture stunning photos and videos from various perspectives, adding creativity to their photography experience.

Performance and Storage

Powering the HTC U23 Pro is the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, providing efficient performance for seamless multitasking and smooth user experience. With options for 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, users can store their files, photos, and videos without worrying about space constraints. The inclusion of a microSD card slot allows for further storage expansion, offering even more flexibility.

Running on Android 13 out of the box, the HTC U23 Pro comes pre-installed with the VIVERSE app, enhancing the user’s immersive experience. Furthermore, the device is compatible with the VIVE XR Elite mixed reality headset, offering a seamless connection between the smartphone and the VR world. With IP67 dust and water resistance, users can confidently use their phone in various environments. The HTC U23 Pro also supports 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, USB-C, and retains the classic 3.5mm headphone jack.

Pokdepinion: It looks like a pretty promising smartphone but its success is highly dependent on pricing. It definitely needs to lean more towards the more affordable side, at least initially, if they want to make a strong comeback.
