MIUI 13 Expected To Arrive This 25 June
While Xiaomi has been rolling out MIUI 12.5 updates to their smartphones, it seems that the company is already working on the launch of their next version, MIUI 13.
MIUI 13 to release in June?
The news come from China, where sources has said that Xiaomi is looking to launch their upcoming Android skin, MIUI 13 (if it does indeed end up with that name). It is said to be scheduled for a 25th of June 2021 release.
Xiaomi has been known to support for their devices, regardless cheap or their more high-end offerings. If you are using a device that that was release back before 2019 however, well there’s some bad news for you. It seems that if your smartphone is in that category, you will not be receiving the latest MIUI 13 update.
It is said that even flagships such as the Mi 9, Mi Mix 3, as well as their Redmi Note 8 series will not be getting it. There’s no specific details on what the update brings, but as found from previous updates, we expect it to offer new animations, themes, and security enhancements.
