Lenovo launches new gaming portfolio including new Legion Y90

Lenovo has recently announced the debut of a new gaming smartphone and smart tablet at their 2022 Saver Ecology Spring New Product Launch Conference, which is expected to take place on February 28th.

The new gaming smartphone, the Legion Y90, is the successor to the Lenovo Legion 2 Pro and is slated to launch during the event itself. The smartphone brings most of its impressive features like the big 6.92” AMOLED, the side-mounted elevating selfie camera and the latest Qualcomm chipset namely the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The device will have 68W fast charging for its massive 5,600 mAh battery, topping up the dual power cell in 36 minutes.

The Lenovo Legion portfolio will also have a small gaming tablet, the Lenovo Legion Y700 gaming tablet, for which there is not much news about yet. However, we can confirm that it will have an 8.8” screen, a single camera on the back and a 6,550 mAh battery with 45W fast charging. Taking after the smartphone, the tablet will be designed for the best horizontal experience and supports a 120 Hz refresh rate for selected games.

While the launch has been confirmed on Weibo, we hope to learn more in the coming days as there are almost two weeks left until the launch date.
