The OPPO A98 5G is one of the highly-anticipated smartphones this year, and we’re getting a better look at it now with high-resolution renders. The handset is pictured in two colors – Dreamy Blue and Cool Black, both of which have a unique design on the back, just below the camera island.
According to the previous leaks, the OPPO A98 5G will have a 6.72-inch HD+ 120Hz LCD display, and it will be powered by the Snapdragon 695 paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The device’s specs sheet also includes a 64MP main camera, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, there is a 32MP front camera in a punch-hole cutout.
The OPPO A98 5G will come with a 5,000 mAh battery with 67W fast charging and run Android 13 with ColorOS on top out of the box. While the pricing and availability details are still not available, we expect the device to be launched soon.

Pokdepinion: Depending on the price, this could actually be a pretty attractive smartphone for a whole lot of people. If it’s anything higher than RM1,600, I think it might be a bit of a hard sell, but that’s just my thought.
