OPPO Files Patent For A Physical QWERTY Keyboard Smartphone

It appears that the folks at OPPO have filed a patent for a smartphone that’ll be coming with a physical QWERTY keyboard, at least according to reports.

It’s been two years since we’ve touched a smartphone with a physical keyboard in the form of the BlackBerry Key 2. Well it seems that OPPO wants to revive the idea with a smartphone of the kind of their own.

According to the images, they seem to be rather..congested together. Other than that, it seems that the patent showcase that they will opt for a dewdrop notch on the display itself.

Though it might be interesting for some to see it actually be release to the market, at the end of the day, it is still a patent. There’s no guarantees that it will ever make it out, as is the case for lots of patents out there.
