Redmi 10C packs Snapdragon 680, 50MP camera from just RM559
The latest member of the Redmi 10 series has just arrived in the form of the Redmi 10C! The Redmi 10C is yet another addition to the value-oriented lineup of entry-level smartphones, bringing great bang for your buck. I mean, where else are you going to find a Snapdragon 680 and a 50MP camera in a sub-RM600 smartphone?

The Redmi 10C distinguishes itself from the Redmi 10 that was announced last year with its Snapdragon 680 manufactured on the 6nm process. While performance might not be that different compared to the Redmi 10’s Helio G88, the more advanced 6nm process should promise better This is paired up with 4GB of LPDDR4X memory and up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
The display is quite severely downgraded with a 6.71″ HD+ Dot Drop display, and it also doesn’t have the high refresh rate of its brethren. You do get support for Widevine L1 with the Redmi 10C though, so you can fully take advantage of the HD display with Netflix HD or Amazon Prime HD.
The 50MP main camera stays, while it loses the macro camera that was featured in the Redmi 10. You still get a depth sensor to help with getting more natural bokeh effects. Redmi also quite ingeniously hid the fingerprint scanner in the camera cutout, making for a cleaner looking rear. Keeping everything alive is a 5000mAh battery that supports 18W charging, although you only get a 10W charger in the box.
