Samsung Galaxy A70 announced with long 20:9 6.7″ Super AMOLED display!

Samsung’s latest addition to the Samsung Galaxy A family is the Samsung Galaxy A70, which is going to be a more premium device than the recently launched Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50. Samsung has announced the full specifications and feature set of the Samsung Galaxy A70, but has not revealed the pricing of the Samsung Galaxy A70.

The highlight of the Samsung Galaxy A70 is probably its large 6.7″ FHD+ Super AMOLED display. It touts a pretty long 20:9 aspect ratio, promising a more comfortable one-handed user experience while maximizing the viewing area with the Infinity-U design. Samsung also crammed their on-screen fingerprint scanning technology into the Samsung Galaxy A70.

Big battery, big screen!

To support the massive display, Samsung also packed the Galaxy A70 with a massive battery. Measuring in at 4500 mAh, it offers more juice and might also charge faster with it supporting 25W Super Fast Charging. This feature matches the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G’s charging rate and is way faster than the pitiable 15W Adaptive Fast Charging that the other Galaxy S10 devices support.

The Samsung Galaxy A70 will sport 32MP shooters on both the front and back, with an additional ultra wide camera and depth sensor on the back. Here are the full specifications of the Samsung Galaxy A70:

It’s even available in the Pantone Color of the Year!

Samsung is using their 3D Glasstic (read: plastic) design here, and will be offering the Samsung Galaxy A70 in Black, Blue, White and Coral, which is this year’s Pantone Color of the Year. Stay tuned for more details about the Samsung Galaxy A70 on 10th April!

Pokdepinion: That fast charging is quite interesting. Didn’t expect them to bring faster charging to a mid-range device..
