Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra Review -

New reports have surfaced which claims that next year’s Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will be utilizing a 200MP Olympus camera. This differs from earlier reports which suggests a more refined version of the 108MP ISOCELL HM3 sensor.

This particular report is from a Korean publication Naver Blog which also cited a variety of industry sources. Apparently, Japanese camera maker Olympus contacted Samsung for a partnership and the two companies have agreed to the terms. This will eventually lead to the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra having a 5-lens 200MP Olympus camera.

Apart from that, it’s said that upcoming flagship smartphone will retain S Pen support, though there is no word whether the Korean giant will bundle it together with the device or if it will be a separate purchase once again. It’s said that the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will be launching sometime in January 2022 but for now, we still have their foldables to look forward to in August 2021.

Pokdepinion: I do believe the photography aspect of the flagship series is pretty solid already but what I want to know is how big of an improvement it will be in the video department. If I can take solid cinematic shots with ease on it, I might just use it as my primary B-roll camera moving forward.
