It seems that the next iteration of the Korean giant’s top-of-the-line premium S series smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, may feature a lower resolution selfie camera than previous models. According to reports, the Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus will upgrade their selfie cameras to a 12MP sensor, while the S23 Ultra will also feature the same 12MP sensor.

While the lower pixel count may be perceived as a downgrade for the Ultra model, it is suggested that the overall image quality may still improve due to other factors beyond just pixel count. It is also suggested that the new selfie camera may finally include autofocus.
