Although the aspect ratio remains consistent, the Galaxy Z Fold Slim’s outer screen will be slightly smaller at 6.5 inches compared to the S24 Ultra. Inside, users will enjoy an 8-inch folding display, both panels larger than those on the Galaxy Z Fold6, which was announced earlier this month.

The Galaxy Z Fold Slim, previously rumored to be named the Galaxy Z Fold Ultra, is expected to come with a titanium frame. This new model promises to be thinner and lighter than its predecessor, the Fold6, positioning itself as a more premium and pricier option within Samsung’s foldable lineup.

Set to debut in the fourth quarter of 2024, between October and December, the exact markets for the Galaxy Z Fold Slim remain uncertain. Initial rumors suggested availability only in Korea and China. However, Ice Universe clarifies that the Slim should not be confused with the Samsung W25, a foldable dedicated to the Chinese market.

Pokdepinion: If this is real, this is the kind of size I would want for a foldable of this form factor. Use like a regular smartphone with the cover display, and then use the bigger screen for specific things like playing mobile games.
