Xiaomi 12 Pro Antutu Test Reveals Interesting Result For Snapdragon 8 Gen 1
As we’ve previously wrote, Xiaomi has unveiled the latest Xiaomi 12 series in China. That being said, Antutu has tested the Xiaomi 12 Pro and it reveals an interesting result for the new flagship chipset from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
Xiaomi 12 Pro Antutu test on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1
In the test, it was revealed that the Pro version scored a massive 1,070,033 which is an upgrade of 45,000 points from the previous Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro, which is not that shocking to see.
What’s interesting with the test is that it seems that the phone ran a handful of test but did not exceed 48-Celsius in temperatures. You can check out the types of test and max temps below:
- Balance mode – 32.8-Celcius
- Regular (Performance) mode – 43.5-Celcius
- Extreme mode – 48-Celcius
In the Extreme mode, it seems that they’ve played “Yuan Shen” for half an hour where the average frame rate was 57fps. For the Xiaomi 12 Pro, it appears that they’ve utilized 2900 square milimeters super VC cooling plate and three layers of graphite to keep thermals at a minimal.
This is a massive improvement when it comes to temperatures as you may recall from our previous reviews on Snapdragon 888 devices that they didn’t manage heat very well. You may check out our full review of the Xiaomi Mi 11 right here to find out more.

Pokdepinion: While it does sound impressive, I think it’s better we save our judgment when we can test the device out ourselves when it comes out to our shores in Q1 of 2022.
