Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi has officially confirmed the global unveiling of its highly anticipated Xiaomi 15 series smartphones on March 2, just a day before the Mobile World Congress (MWC) kicks off in Barcelona. The lineup is expected to include the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro, both of which debuted in China last year. Additionally, a top-tier Xiaomi 15 Ultra model could also make an appearance. Given that Xiaomi Malaysia’s official Facebook page also shared out the announcement, it might be arriving in our shores sooner rather than later.

Launched in China in October 2024, the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and feature a camera system co-engineered with the German optics brand Leica. Xiaomi 15 Ultra: The Ultimate Flagship?

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is rumored to launch in China on February 26, followed by a global debut on March 2. Like its siblings, the Ultra model is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It will reportedly feature a 6.73-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 3.2K resolution (3200 x 1440 pixels) and an adaptive refresh rate of 1-120Hz.

The smartphone could pack a 5410mAh battery with support for 90W wired and 80W wireless charging. Xiaomi is likely continuing its collaboration with Leica for an advanced camera system, which is rumored to include:
