Alongside the launch of its REDMI Note 17 series smartphones, Xiaomi has expanded its wearables lineup in Malaysia with three new smartwatches – the REDMI Watch 6 Active and REDMI Watch 6 Lite, as well as Xiaom Smart Band 11 Active – along with a new Mist Blue colour option for the REDMI Headphones Neo.
REDMI Watch 6 Active
The REDMI Watch 6 Active features a 1.85-inch AMOLED display with up to 1,200 nits of peak brightness, along with an Always-on Display mode for viewing time and notifications without unlocking the screen. The watch has a 9.9mm-thick, 26g body with a flat-frame design, rounded corners and 2.5D curved glass, and supports quick-release straps along with a range of watch faces for customization.
Xiaomi said the device offers up to 18 days of battery life under light usage. The watch supports Bluetooth calling directly from the wrist, along with health tracking features including all-day heart rate, blood oxygen and stress monitoring, sleep tracking, and women’s health management. It also includes more than 140 sports modes and carries an IP68 dust and water resistance rating. It is available in Midnight Black, Matte Silver, Sunset Orange colorways, with pricing listed as RM229.
REDMI Watch 6 Lite
The REDMI Watch 6 Lite uses a larger 1.96-inch AMOLED display with up to 1,500 nits of peak brightness, along with Always-on Display and adaptive brightness features; at 9.9mm thick and 27.8g, the watch uses a similar 2.5D curved glass design with quick-release straps, positioned with a sportier, minimalist look compared to the Watch 6 Active.
The Watch 6 Lite adds built-in five-system GNSS positioning for route tracking without a paired smartphone, along with swim tracking powered by a 9-axis sensor that detects swimming strokes and measures metrics such as average speed, underwater heart rate changes and SWOLF efficiency.
The watch carries a 5ATM water resistance rating for swimming and shallow-water use, supports more than 150 sports modes, and includes the same all-day health monitoring features as the Watch 6 Active. Xiaomi rates its battery life at up to 18 days under light usage as well. At RM299, it is available in Black and Steel Gray color options.
Xiaomi Smart Band 11 Active
Xiaomi also brought a new wearable that bears its own brand instead of its budget counterpart – the Smart Band 11 Active features a 1.47-inch color display with a 60Hz refresh rate, a metallic-look frame, and a 2.5D curved cover glass, available in Grey, Black and Pomelo Pink colors. It offers all-day health tracking including heart rate, SpO2, sleep and stress monitoring, along with 50 sports modes and 5ATM water resistance for swim tracking. Xiaomi rates the battery life at up to 21 days under light usage. It is priced at RM199.
REDMI Headphones Neo, Now In Mist Blue
Xiaomi has also introduced a new Mist Blue colorway for the REDMI Headphones Neo. ICYMI – the headphones feature 42dB ANC that adjusts automatically based on ambient noise levels, along with a triple-microphone AI-based call noise reduction system. The headphones also carry Hi-Res Gold certification for lossless audio transmission. The new color option maintains the same price at RM399.
Pokdepinion: Both Watch 6 variants lack the crown button unlike the standard. Interesting.
