Some interesting developments have occurred with the Microsoft Xbox brand as the official Xbox Singapore Facebook page has been rebranded to Xbox SEA. Could this mean that the gaming brand will have an official presence in Malaysia and other Southeast Asian countries?

Recently, the Xbox Singapore Facebook page has been rebranded to Xbox SEA. Interestingly, the page description has also updated to include details that no longer makes it exclusive to just Singapore. This may be a sign that the Microsoft Xbox brand will be making its way to Malaysia and other countries in Southeast Asia.

If the name change alone isn’t enough to convince you, they recently posted an Age of Empires IV Fan Preview with Bahasa Malaysia audio on the newly-rebranded Facebook page. In fact, the title of the video itself is “Age of Empires: Pratonton Peminat” which literally translates to Age of Empires: Fan Preview.

For now however, Malaysia and other countries in Southeast Asia with exception to Singapore isn’t listed in the Xbox official region list, which you can view by clicking right here. This doesn’t mean that it will not expanding their list sooner or later. For now, we can’t confirm yet if it will be having an official presence but one thing’s for sure, such an occurrence would mean that they are seriously considering it.
