Just Cause Mobile Unveiled And The Graphics Look Amazing
At The Game Awards 2020, we saw a new trailer on a surprising new mobile game, Just Cause Mobile. The trailer is rather short but it does show off a bit of gameplay, visuals, and more.
Just Cause Mobile Unveiled
As seen in the short, 1-minute trailer, Just Cause Mobile is making its way to Android and iOS. While no release date was mentioned, the “Coming Soon” message, as well as what was shown on the trailer, would indicate that it’s expected to launch rather soon. Given how prominent the logo of the publisher, Square Enix, is displayed, it would appear that they’re set on moving forward with the franchise without the original developers.
For those of you who aren’t aware, Avalanche Studios co-founder and Just Cause creator, Christofer Sundberg, has founded Liquid Swords, a new game studio based in Stockholm, Sweden. Liquid Swords is said to work on open-world action games for next gen consoles, PC and streaming platforms.
Avalanche Studios is best known for making the Just Cause series. The latest game in the franchise is Just Cause 4, which was launched on December 2018. Apart from that, the studio also helped develop id Software’s Rage 2 in 2019 and 2015’s Mad Max.
Once again, Just Cause Mobile will be coming to Android and iOS but no release date has been set yet. We will report more on this as soon as information becomes available.
Pokdepinion: Still not too sure what to make of the game but hopefully, it’s something worth looking forward to rather than just cashing in on the franchise.
