Apple has kicked off Indie Games Week on the App Store, featuring seven indie games available for download or pre-order on iPhone and iPad. The App Store will highlight the titles through daily features and curated collections throughout the week.
Indie Games Week Lineup

Sifu is a third-person brawler about a young kung fu student seeking revenge, with combat built around parrying, combos and using the surrounding environment as a weapon. The iPhone and iPad version includes custom-tuned touch controls, a reworked camera system and full controller support. Vampire Crawlers is a gothic card battler and spin-off of Vampire Survivors, replacing the original’s bullet-dodging with tactical deck building. Players progress through dungeon runs by finding card combinations and relics.

Many years since its original launch, No Man’s Sky from Hello Games will make its mobile debut on iPhone and iPad on 28 October. The game includes every major content expansion to date, including the recent Cosmos update, which lets players command their own space stations. The space exploration title is best known for its procedurally generated universe rendered entirely at runtime.

Little Kitty, Big City has players guide a cat through an open-world city; 9 Kings is a strategic kingdom builder in which players assemble card armies to take on royal opponents. Dome Keeper is an alien mining simulator that combines digging with defending against enemies, while Yes, Your Grace 2: Snowfall focuses on difficult moral choices in an effort to save a crumbling empire. These four titles are available to download now.
Apple has also published a guide to indie games on the App Store, along with a separate indie games guide for Mac, both curated by App Store editors.
Pokdepinion: No Man’s Sky on a phone is proof that mobile gaming has come a long way.
