HAIKYU!! FLY HIGH is marking its 1st Anniversary with its biggest content drop since launch – the game has announced a month-long celebration running from July 22 to August 19, 2026, packed with free character rewards, exclusive cosmetics, two brand-new SP characters, and an all-new mini game mode for players to enjoy.
Over the past year, the mobile game has brought the world of the Haikyu!! volleyball anime to players on mobile, letting them build dream teams, relive iconic matchups, and recruit fan-favorite characters from the series. The 1st Anniversary celebration marks the game’s most expansive content update to date.
HAIKYU!! FLY HIGH 1st Anniversary Events & Free Rewards
From July 22 to August 5, players who log in daily will receive a range of exclusive anniversary collectibles. These include limited-time Portrait Frames and Chat Frames available only during the event period, as well as two special dual-character Backgrounds, one featuring Shoyo Hinata and Tobio Kageyama, and another featuring Tooru Oikawa and Hajime Iwaizumi.
Daily login rewards also include SP Recruit Tickets, UR Recruit Tickets, and UR Player Boost Cards to help players strengthen their rosters throughout the celebration.
The centerpiece event is “Make UR Wish”, where players complete designated challenges for a chance to select a UR-rarity player of their choice. Whether it is a powerhouse spiker, a libero, or a setter, players can recruit their preferred character to add to their Dream Team entirely through gameplay.
Running alongside it, the “Gym Cleanup” event lets players earn SP Hitoshi Ginjima for free by completing daily tasks. Ginjima is a wing spiker from Inarizaki High School, and his addition is one of the free character highlights of the anniversary period.
A new mini game mode called Showdown! Midnight Treasure Hunt also makes its debut during the anniversary. Players are dropped into a camp dormitory setting to search for items, compete against opponents, and complete their exploration before time runs out.
New SP Characters: Korai Hoshiumi and Sachiro Hirugami
The anniversary roster expansion introduces two new SP characters from Kamomedai High School. SP Korai Hoshiumi (Winter Sports) is a wing spiker known for his extraordinary jump height and aggressive attacking ability. He carries the nickname “The Next Little Giant” within the series.
Joining him is SP Sachiro Hirugami (Winter Sports), a middle blocker whose read-blocking technique and calm tactical approach make him a strong defensive addition to any team. Together, the two characters bring Kamomedai High School’s style of play to the game as part of the 1st Anniversary celebration.
