Honor of Kings is launching a new event centered around martial arts, showcasing the diverse fighting styles of Silat, Lucha Libre, and Capoeira, which are of Malay, Mexican, and Brazilian origin, respectively. This update introduces the All-Star Fighters Open, a new skin series inspired by martial arts, and the arrival of a new hero, Ziya, on August 20.

The All-Star Fighters Open is a fantasy tournament within the Honor of Kings universe that brings together fighters from different regions and cultural backgrounds, each practicing distinct martial arts disciplines. Players can follow the backstories of characters Mayene, Lian Po, and Lam as they enter the tournament, with new skins available for each character. Here’s the trailer:

The Ascension Skin series pays homage to the regions and cultures where these martial arts originated. Players can choose from Lian Po – Ascension: Luchador, Lam – Ascension: Pendekar, or Mayene – Ascension: Capoeirista. These skins can be earned through specific in-game events throughout this August.

Additionally, the game introduces Gemini Showdown, a new time-limited arcade mode. In this mode, players can explore skills from various martial arts styles and customize their abilities by incorporating an opponent’s ultimate skill to gain an advantage in 5v5 battles.

The update also adds Ziya, a new Mage hero joining the roster on August 20. Ziya offers long-range attacks and unique abilities that make him a strong choice for newcomers. His sanctification ability, available at Level 15, allows him to buff a teammate, increasing their max level limit to 25.
