LG has announced the launch of the new MyView Smart Monitor (34SR65QC), featuring a curved, 21:9 ultrawide 34-inch display. The monitor uses VA panel rated for 300 nits of brightness, with a resolution of 3440 x 1440 (equivalent to ultrawide QHD).

With the ultrawide form factor, it is particularly suited for multitasking with side-by-side window management and optimal screen organization via the built-in Screen Split function. The monitor also supports various home-office applications, enabling users to access mail, document editors, and cloud storage directly on the screen without needing a PC or laptop.
The 34SR65QC is the first in the LG MyView lineup to support streaming of video content captured in the 21:9 format, which means no letterboxing (black bars, essentially). The software is powered by webOS, which offers access to popular streaming services such as Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, and Prime Video; there’s also LG Channels that offers free content service with over 300 channels across various categories. For wireless casting, it supports AirPlay 2 and Screen Share for Apple, Android, and Windows devices.
As a TV-monitor hybrid, the 34SR65QC also comes with a basic remote for power and volume control and is compatible with the LG Magic Remote (sold separately), which includes AI Concierge and one-touch access to popular streaming services. The monitor can also be integrated with the LG ThinQ smart home platform, and users can navigate through webOS using a keyboard and mouse. No more point-and-clicks!
The LG MyView Smart Monitor will be available globally, starting in the U.S. and Korea in August, with other markets to follow. In the US, the MSRP is $349.99 (~RM1,565).
