The Pokemon Company has confirmed that Pokemon Pokopia Expansion Pass Part 2: Dazzling Decorations will launch on 9 December 2026 (8 December in the Americas). The second wave of the Expansion Pass brings accessories into the game for the first time, alongside additional Pokemon and furniture.
Pokemon Pokopia Expansion Pass Part 2: Dazzling Decorations

The headline addition in Dazzling Decorations is an accessories system. For the first time in Pokemon Pokopia, players will be able to dress up their Pokemon with wearable accessories. This applies not only to Ditto but to all Pokemon appearing in the game. Accessories confirmed include sunglasses, bow ties, and themed accessories such as the Sylveon ribbon. Additional accessories beyond those showcased are also planned.
Further furniture pieces and new Pokemon will also be introduced in Part 2. Worth noting: unlike Part 1, Dazzling Decorations will not add a new town. Players who have existing save data from Pokemon Pokopia can carry that data forward when playing Part 2.

The Pokemon Pokopia Expansion Pass covers three parts in total. Part 1: Bubbly Basin is already available and introduced a new town alongside additional Pokemon and furniture. Part 2: Dazzling Decorations arrives on 9 December 2026. Part 3 is scheduled for 2027 and will include another new town, more Pokemon, and additional furniture.
Players who purchase the Expansion Pass will receive a recipe for crafting Dynamic Ditto print blocks and wallpaper. This can be claimed through the in-game Downloadable Content menu after purchasing and requires the ver. 1.1.0 free software update.
As a timed purchase bonus, players who buy the Expansion Pass by 31 August 2027 will receive a code via email for 30 rare Pokemetal ingots. The serial code is valid through 30 September 2027 and can only be used once. These ingots are also obtainable through normal gameplay. Claiming the bonus requires an internet connection and a Nintendo Account linked to the system; a paid Nintendo Switch Online membership is not required.

A free in-game event called “Apples to Applin” begins on 16 November 2026 at 5.00am and runs until 1 December 2026 at 4.59am. The event allows players to befriend Applin, the Apple Core Pokemon, and collect Syrupy Apples to exchange for apple-themed furniture. Using those items to build habitats will also unlock Flapple, Appletun, Dipplin, and Hydrapple.
To participate, players must have the ver. 2.0.1 or later software update installed, have completed the important request to rebuild the Pokemon Center in a town, and launch the game while connected to the internet with the system date and time set correctly.
Pokdepinion: Accessories for all Pokemon is cute, but the real flex is finally having a Sylveon-ribboned team.
