The RHB Sinar Credit Card-i is now open for applications across Malaysia, offering eligible Malaysians a Shariah-compliant credit card with a fixed retail transaction profit rate of 14% per annum, no annual fee, and no compounding profit charges. RHB Bank positions the card as an accessible, straightforward option for everyday financial needs.
RHB Sinar Credit Card-i Eligibility
The RHB Sinar Credit Card-i is available to individuals aged between 21 and 65 with a minimum annual income of RM24,000. Approved cardholders receive a credit limit of up to RM20,000 or twice their monthly income, whichever is lower. Both principal and supplementary cards carry no annual fee.
Beyond standard retail spending, the card comes with several payment facilities: Smart Move Balance Transfer allows cardholders to consolidate outstanding balances from eligible credit or charge cards, while CashXcess provides access to cash when needed.
Dial-An-Instalment lets customers convert eligible purchases of RM500 or more into monthly instalments for a fee. The Smart Instalment Payment Plan offers 0% instalment terms on eligible retail purchases of at least RM500 at participating RHB merchants. There’s also Smart Pay for bill payments, and Auto Balance Conversion, which converts eligible outstanding balances into monthly payments at a lower rate.
Interested applicants can apply in person at any RHB branch nationwide or speak directly with RHB personnel; those who prefer to register their interest online can do so at www.rhbgroup.com, after which an RHB representative will follow up with further details.
Pokdepinion: A fixed rate with no annual fee sounds decent, but always read the fine print before signing up.
