Diablo II Resurrected Open Beta Coming This August 20
Blizzard has just announced the dates of Diablo II Resurrected early access and open beta. The early access weekend will begin this 13 August and will be available for those who pre-ordered the game or Diablo Prime Evil Collection, which includes both the Diablo II remaster and Diablo 3. Meanwhile, the open beta will be available for everyone else a week after that on 20 August on PC, Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4.
Diablo II Resurrected Open Beta announced
Five different classes will be available to choose from in Diablo II Resurrected which includes the Sorceress, the Barbarian, the Amazon, the Druid and the Paladin. Players will also be able to play with up to 7 different players during both the early access weekend and the open beta. The multiplayer will also allow players to take part in either PvP or PvE play.
Diablo II Resurrected’s multiplayer will be limited to just Act I: The Sightless Eye and Act II: The Secret of the Vizjerei, as it was in the game’s earlier Technical Alpha. Blizzard also says that the remastered cinematics for both Acts I and II will be available during both the early access weekend and the open beta.
Diablo II Resurrected was first announced during last June’s E3 and is due out 23 September this year on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The early access weekend will begin 13 August (14 August 1AM Malaysian time) while the open beta will begin 20 August (21 August 1AM Malaysian time). Both early access and open beta will be on all available platforms except the Nintendo Switch.
