Latest EA Update Allows Discord To Share More Details Of Your Status
EA is updating their support for Discord’s Rich Presence feature. In case you’re not sure of what it brings, it shows others on information on your status, especially when you’re in an EA title.
EA adds Discord Rich Presence update
EA has announced that the new update will allow Discord to show more details on your account. Beforehand, Discord only showed what EA game you were playing as well as how long. Now with the update,
It appears that with the new update, it will showcase information such as what game mode you’re in and “whether or not you’re ready to partner up for something different”.
At the moment, there’s games such as Payday 2, Battlerite, and Divinity: Original Sin 2 that supports the feature but we expect for more games to be supported soon through the EA App. Aside from that, developers can also use it to allow people to invite each other to their games or watch their friends’ games.
If you are interested in it, you can enable the Discord integration through the EA App by going to the Settings, head to My Account, and go to Connected Accounts to authorize and link your Discord and EA account.

Pokdepinion: Nice to see that they are offering better integration but honestly speaking, I’d definitely love it if we can see this on all games. It’d be much easier to see if your friends are busy and what not than to ask them about it and disturb their session.
