Lidia Sobieska Revealed As Tekken 7 Newest DLC Character

We’ve known for a while that the newest DLC character will be an original creation with origins linked to Poland. Now, we get to see the character in its full glory as its Polish Prime Minister Lidia Sobieska.

The folks over at Bandai Namco have launched a brand new gameplay trailer revealing their newest DLC character, Polish Prime Minister Lidia Sobieska. She appears to be a lot younger than we expected based on initial teasers.

Lidia Sobieska will be the final DLC character for Tekken 7 Season Pass 4, where Kunimitsu was the other new addition to the game. She will be available to play starting 23rd March 2021.

As you can see from the trailer, she has two main outfits; a casual fighter-type outfit and one in business attire. Most likely, her other alternate outfits will be colour variations of these two outfits, but there may be more when she’s finally available to play.

In case you’re wondering who this lady exactly is, she’s a brand new, original creation but she’s expected to play a prominent role in the Tekken storyline moving forward. While they might not explain much in this game, there will be a lot more when the sequel is out. We get hints from her character design, such as the scar on her left eye, and it might have something to do with the Mishima family as they are prominently shown as enemies.

Alongside Lidia Sobieska, the Island Paradise stage will be coming to Tekken 7 on 23rd March 2021. You can get these two as part of Season Pass 4 or purchase the character individually if you’re not interested in the pass as a whole.

Pokdepinion: I’m actually very tempted to get Season Pass 4 now but my only question is if Lidia can wavedash or not. If she can, then take my money, Bandai Namco, because I’ve found my new main.
