The Elder Scrolls Online Unveils Gold Road Chapter & Scions of Ithelia Dungeon DLC
At ESO 2024, Zenimax introduced The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Road, delivering 30 hours of fresh main quest content that revisits locations from The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Building on last year’s Necrom Chapter, Gold Road unfolds a storyline featuring Ithelia, a previously unseen Daedric Prince in the Elder Scrolls series. Players embark on a quest to unravel the schemes of Ithelia’s devoted followers, facing opportunistic Wood Elves and safeguarding West Weald from the chaos brought by the return of the Forgotten Prince.
The Gold Road expansion encompasses two new zones, introduces new adversaries, and unveils the Scribing system. Scribing, an all-new system introduced in ESO, allows players to collect and customize unique skills, enabling the tailoring of character playstyles by modifying primary, secondary, and tertiary effects.
Kicking off the year’s new content roadmap is the upcoming Scions of Ithelia Dungeon DLC. This PvE DLC introduces two and four-player dungeons – Oathsword Pit and Bedlam Veil – to Tamriel. The storylines within these dungeons pave the way for the forthcoming Gold Road Chapter, tasking players and allies with seeking vengeance for the God of Curses and defending the enigmatic hold of the Demiprince of Maelstrom.
The Scions of Ithelia dungeon DLC is set to release on March 11 for PC/Mac and on March 26 for Xbox and PlayStation consoles. Players can access the Elder Scrolls Online: Scions of Ithelia DLC game pack through ESO Plus membership or purchase it from the in-game Crown Store. The Gold Road chapter will be available starting June 3 for PC/Mac, whereas Xbox and PlayStation consoles will gain access starting June 18.
Pokdepinion: Looks like plenty of new stuff introduced here, I suppose the Scribing system could change things up.
