While it’s quite normal for new games to be filled with bugs upon launch, Cyberpunk 2077 has been on another level, specifically for last-gen consoles. It appears that Sony PlayStation has taken the decision to take the game down from their PlayStation Store “until further notice”.

Cyberpunk 2077 updateSony Interactive Entertainment has also offered full refunds for the game to those who purchase the title from their PlayStation Store it seems, at least over in the US.

The statement was revealed on their official Twitter account where it says “SIE strives to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, and we will begin to offer a full refund for all gamers who have purchase Cyberpunk 2077 via PlayStation Store and want a refund. SIE will also be removing Cyberpunk 2077 from PlayStation Store until further notice”.

At the time of writing, Cyberpunk 2077 is nowhere to be seen in the PlayStation Store (Asian region).

If you’ve purchased the game on PS4 and it was all buggy for you, this may be great news to you. However, if you’re fine with the game, you don’t need to take any action and continue to play the game.

CD Projekt Red, the team behind Cyberpunk 2077 is currently working on several “large patches” for the game, where they aim to release it in January 2021 and another one the following month. With the updates, they will fix most issues in the game, according to them.

Pokdepinion: Well I can’t say that I was shocked that the game had bugs, seeing how big of a project it is and how it’s an open world game. Hopefully PlayStation Asia can provide full refunds as well for those who ask for it.
