HoYoverse Unveils Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.2 Update “Then Wake to Weep”

HoYoverse has announced the forthcoming release of the Version 2.2 update for Honkai: Star Rail, titled “Then Wake to Weep,” set to launch on May 8. In this update, players will witness the Penacony adventure nears its climax. Here’s the trailer:

The update introduces two enigmatic personas, Robin and Boothill, as playable characters; as the storyline unfolds, players will encounter the mysterious “Harmonious Choir” The Great Septimus, a special opponent poised to deliver a remarkable performance at the Charmony Festival.

Continuing the main storyline, Trailblazers will explore new Dreamscapes and uncover the secrets of The Family, with the introduction of Dreamflux Reef, a barren yet intriguing location requiring specific methods and resources for access. Additionally, there’s the “Festivity Auditions”, offering Trailblazers the chance to compete for the title of Festive Superstar at the Charmony Festival’s grand event.

Version 2.2 also presents the opportunity for players to re-acquire limited 5-star characters and esteemed Master Diviner Fu Xuan in the Warp Event, facing various challenges in Penacony.

To celebrate the game’s first anniversary, the Honkai: Star Rail Concert will be globally livestreamed on May 1, 2024, at 7:05 PM (Malaysian Time), players can come along by watching the steam on Honkai: Star Rail’s official YouTube Channel. Additionally, they can look forward to Miss Robin’s album featuring her hit song “If I Can Stop One Heart From Breaking.”
