HoYoverse Unveils Lineup for gamescom 2024 Appearance

HoYoverse announced its participation in gamescom 2024, bringing Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, and Zenless Zone Zero to Cologne from Aug 21-25. Fans can join the “Travel Across HoYoverse” event at Booth C-031 in Hall 6 to see what the developer has in store this time around.

Entering fourth year of release, Genshin Impact will showcase Natlan, the sixth major region in Teyvat, with themed decorations and a giant boss statue from the new location will be presented for the first time. Cosplayers and performances will be presented on the main stage as well as throughout the booth area, and HoYoverse hinted that “there could also be more exciting news to come,” so watch this space.

Meanwhile, Honkai: Star Rail will once again feature Penacony with attractions like the Dreampool, Golden Capsule Machine, and Origami Bird Clash Match throughout the booth. Visitors can interact with characters including Pom-Pom, Firefly, plus cosplayers and “mysterious figures”. Additionally, there will be activities including exclusive merch for sale, stage shows, games, and band performances.

Finally, the newly-launched Zenless Zone Zero will debut with a 100-square-meter area inspired by New Eridu’s cargo container aesthetic. Here, you get to meet Bangboo, and activities include combat challenges, container customization, on-site challenges with prizes to win, and interactions with content creators and cosplayers.

Visitors can claim a special HoYoverse passport upon entry, and those who collect stamps through activities from all three game booths can further redeem more exclusive rewards.
