Sony has provided local availability information for the upcoming PlayStation 5 Pro, and it’s going to really cost you: the console will cost RM3,849 when it is available in Malaysia come this November 7. If you can stomach that price, you can pre-order it starting this September 26 in various local retailers.

But what are you getting for this rather hefty price tag? The PS5 Pro does come with significantly upgraded internals, including a new AMD-based GPU packing 67% more Compute Units, 28% faster RAM, accounting for 45% improvement in overall performance; ray tracing also gets a big boost this time around, while PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) takes care of the upscaling duty with the help of machine learning.

Every PS5 Pro sold will come with an included DualSense controller, plus a free copy of Astro’s Playroom, and 2TB of storage to house more games that has gotten increasingly massive in recent years. The console will be digital-only by default, but like the “Slim” model, you can buy the optional Blu-ray disc drive as an add-on for the console if disc media is what you prefer.
