UNIQLO has announced a second Pokemon UT (UNIQLO T-shirt) collection commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Pokemon franchise, set to arrive in stores and online from Monday, July 27, 2026. The Pokemon UT collection draws inspiration from the original Pokemon Red and Blue video games, rendering iconic characters and scenes in monochrome pixel art across designs made for both adults and children.

The designs pay direct homage to the games that started it all – featured artwork includes the nostalgic opening screen from the original titles, fan-favorite characters such as Pikachu, and the Legendary Pokemon Mew and Mewtwo. The collection also incorporates the Pokemon associated with the eight Gym Leaders encountered throughout the original journey. All characters are rendered in pixel art style, just like what you’ll find in the 1996 Game Boy originals.

UNIQLO has produced four graphic designs each for adults and kids, so Trainers of all ages can join the commemoration; besides that, there’s a dedicated Pokemon UT website showcasing the pixel art T-shirt designs alongside music from Pokemon Red and Pokémon Blue, with each soundtrack tied to the theme of its corresponding design.

The collection launches on 27 July 2026: Men’s T-shirts are available in four designs at RM59.90, in sizes XS to 3XL; Kids’ T-shirts are available in four designs at RM39.90, in sizes 110 to 160cm. Sizes 110, XS, XXL, and 3XL are available exclusively through the online store. The collection will be available at all UNIQLO stores in Malaysia, as well as on the brand’s website.
