Acer updates Nitro series — new Nitro 5 and Nitro 50 gaming systems

Acer’s didn’t forget the people who need a more affordable option than offered by the Predator series. The Acer Nitro series of gaming desktop and laptops allow gamers who have a tighter budget to have fun too while not being forced into a diet consisiting solely of Maggi for months on end.

The Acer Nitro 5 is actually the only model from Acer so far that comes with the latest Intel Core i7+ processors, which means that they come with Optane memory. Optane accelerates storage operations, allowing for a more responsive computing experience. It can be gotten with a GeForce GTX 1050 Ti inside, and features Acer CoolBoost technology and NitroSense to keep things cool as you fire up games. Priced from RM2999 for the basic i5 8300H + GTX 1050 variant and ranging all the way to RM3999 for the i7+ 8750H variant, the Acer Nitro 5 represents excellent value for gamers.

For RM4239, this is also another affordable desktop system. It can be configured with a desktop i7 processor and GeForce GTX 1050 for entry-level gaming performance. The case may not look like much, but it actually comes with an optional Qi Wireless Charging Pad.
