Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Midnight Launch at Sunway Pyramid
The Call of Duty series has been accused of falling into a familiar rut nowadays with their recent games being almost indistinguishable between one another. However, hardcore fans doesn’t seem to care despite all the flak the series has been receiving.
Around 200 excited Call of Duty fans showed up at the midnight launch of the latest addition to their beloved game series, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, which was held at Galactic Laser in Sunway Pyramid.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Finally Launches
The Call of Duty: Infinte Warfare launch event began at 8PM yesterday till 2AM today and was held at Galactic Laser over at Sunway Pyramid last night and was immediately packed with eager fans coming in droves the moment they opened their doors.
While waiting for the game to finally launch at midnight, players could participate in some fun and appropriately themed activities. Laser Tag sessions with your buddies that could nab you some cool PlayStation goodie bags, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered demo booths and photo sessions with zombies are some of the activities gamers could participate in.
The fans who flocked in to the event last night were mainly fans who had pre-oredered the game prior. Those who pre-ordered the game got their hands on some interesting and exclusive Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare merchandise such as a special double-sided Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare/ Modern Warfare Remastered poster, a limited edition Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare T-Shirt, and a cool af Call of Duty themed timepiece AKA a watch.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare – A New Direction
Much hype was made about the game’s reveal trailer back in May when it officially became YouTube’s second most disliked video of all time (in a matter of weeks!) which, if I may add, has more likes now (at the time of writing) then it did when it first debuted.ARVE Error: need id and provider
After playing the game at the launch event’s demo booth however, the game is pretty swell looking. The futuristic setting adds a wonderful twist of flavour to a very familiar look and feel of your standard Call of Duty game. I can’t really say much because I didn’t manage to play the game in its entirety but as first impressions go I’d say that its a solid entry in the Call of Duty series.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is officially out now and is available for the PS4, XBOX ONE and PC. To those who purchased either the Legacy, Digital Deluxe or Legacy Pro edition of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will get the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered bundled in for free.
