Hackers Can Hijack PC Through An Internet Explorer Flaw

It appears that an exploit of sorts have been discovered recently on Microsoft’s Internet Explorer browser. The flaw is said to allow hackes to hijack PCs remotely. It is said to affect those on Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 10.

It was discovered by Google’s Threat Analysis Group, where a memory corruption flaw is exploited by enticing unsuspecting users to visit a website. When they visit this suspicious website, the hacker will gain the same user rights as the actual user of the PC itself. This will then be followed by the installation of malicious software such as backdoor programs.

The folks over at Microsoft has already published a fix for it and are urging users to update the browser even if it’s not the default internet surfing tool. You don’t have to update it manually as a simple Windows Update will also have it updated and protect yourself from this issue.
