It seems that LG will be bringing in their latest flagship device, the LG V40 ThinQ, which is reported to come in January of next year.

Following the trend of brands packing more cameras packed into their devices, the LG V40 ThinQ sports 3 cameras at the rear that consists of a 12MP telephoto zoom lens, 16MP super wide-angle, as well as a normal 12MP lens. Interestingly, they come with a triple-shot function, which means you can choose between three picture options that’s taken by all three of the cameras individually.

In addition, it also features a dual camera at the front of it, where it comes with your normal depth effect. Coming with a notch, it sports a 6.4-inch OLED display with QHD+ resolution.

Other than that, it comes with a Snapdragon 845 chipset and packs 6GB of RAM that’s mated with either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage (expandable up to 2TB via microSD).

The phone will not come with the latest Android 9 Pie update, but will instead come with the older Android 8.1 Oreo version. Price for the device is not yet confirmed but it is said to be between US$700 (around RM2,920) and US$900 (roughly RM3,754).

Pokdepinion: I would like to see LG come into the Malaysian market again (the smartphone division that is). It would be interesting to see how this new LG V40 ThinQ would perform here.
