Lenovo Introduces Latest ThinkPad P1 And ThinkPad P72

The folks at Lenovo Malaysia has introduced their new ThinkPad P1 and ThinkPad P72 workstations, which is equipped with the latest Intel Xeon processor.

Starting off with the ThinkPad P1, it is a thin and light workstation with it weighing in at 1.7KG. It packs the latest Intel Xeon processor and up to NVIDIA Quadro P2000 graphics. Perfect for rendering, it has been tested and able to handle 3D and 4K applications that is certified by Independent Software Vendors or simply ISVs.

For the design, luxury sports car manufacturer Aston Martin has helped in with the looks and build of the laptop.

Specifications of the P1 include a 15.6-inch FHD display, up to 64GB DDR4 RAM, storage of up to 4TB NVMe SSD, and a 80WHr battery. For ports, it offers 2x Thunderbolt 3 Type-C, USB 3.1 Gen 1, HDMI 2.0, An ethernet port, a Mic/headphone jack, as well as a Smart Card Reader.

The Lenovo ThinkPad P1 is available online and at all Lenovo exclusive stores nationwide. Retail price for the laptop starts at RM8,719.

Next is on the ThinkPad P72.  It features a 17-inch chassis and it is powered by the latest 8th Gen Intel Xeon and Core processors. It offers up to NP5200 16GB VRAM NVIDIA Quadro graphics to tackle the most demanding of tasks easily.

Storage wise, it comes with up to 6TB of storage, up to 128GB RAM and 16GB of Intel Optane to handle immense data sets that require vast amounts of computing power.

It also comes with Thunderbolt 3, a 99WHr battery, 3x USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports, HDMI, Ethernet port, Mini Display Port 1.4, as well as the Smart Card Reader and Mic/Headphone combo jack.

Weighing in at 3.4KG, the Lenovo ThinkPad P72’s price starts at RM8,920 and is available now at online and at all Lenovo Exclusive Stores.
