Logitech G213 Prodigy with Mech-Dome to brings the Cherry MX profile on a membrane keyboard
On September 1st, Logitech announced the latest Logitech G213 Prodigy, a RGB gaming keyboard with the Mech-Dome features. The new G213 Prodigy designed to have an actuation profile similar to a Cherry MX Brown switch. In addition, it also comes with spill resistance and RGB lighting profiles.
To achieve a profile similar to mechanical switches, Logitech tuned the design of the membrane to match as closely as possible the force of Cherry MX Brown switches. Full height keys were used to delivered a full 4mm travel distance and 50g actuation force along with a quiet sound profile.
Logitech G213 Prodigy isn’t a mechanical keyboard but rather a Mech-Dome hybrid, so Logitech has carefully to deliver the best price point at only USD 69 (approximately RM290) with full RGB lighting and dedicated media controls.
