Meet The Smartphone That Comes With Two Notches

Are you a big fan of notches? Neither are we (well at least I don’t!). If one notch wasn’t enough, well Sharp has ‘up-ed’ the game and brought in two instead with the introduction of the Sharp Aquos R2 Compact.

It is reported that the company seeks to offer a respectable screen size while also offering a fingerprint sensor on the front. The Sharp Aquos R2 Compact comes with a 5.2-inch Full HD LCD screen, where a waterdrop notch is visible on top. Specification wise, it packs a Snapdragon 845 chipset that comes with 4GB of RAM. Thanks to its small size, it only manages to store a 2500mAh battery under the hood.

The previous device from Sharp came with a lower Snapdragon 660 SoC, so this seems like an upgrade from its predecessor.

Pokdepinion: I guess it’s a nice thing to have a fingerprint sensor at the front of your device but two notches….? Come on man, that’s too much. Another thing that worries me is the 2500mAh battery. I can’t imagine how long would I last by using the phone.
